We are an Aussie family who must have been Italian in another life!.

We have been coming to Italy pretty much every year since we were married over thirty years ago (we were married in Fiesole, just outside of Firenze).   It was always a dream to have a place here to spend time with our family and friends (and maybe even to retire to in the future). But it felt like a pipe dream.

Then we found this magical place.

We first visited Caicresce in mid-2018.  We fell in love with the view and then the lovely old farmhouse.  It took us almost 2 years to finally be able to call it our own …just as the world went into lockdown and Covid changed everything!  

We are so happy to be back enjoying this amazing part of the world and so very happy to be able to share it with you too.
